This Privacy Policy applies to the Socioi application and website at https://socioi.com. The product name of this service is Socioi.
Who operates Socioi
Socioi is a product of TechnSEO (technseo.com). TechnSEO operates Socioi. Privacy contact: privacy@socioi.com.
Information Socioi collects
Account data
Email, password (handled by our auth provider), company/workspace name for your Socioi account.
Content you create in Socioi
Posts, captions, media uploads, schedules, and channel settings.
Connected channel data
When you connect YouTube (via Google), Facebook Pages, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, or other networks to Socioi, we receive OAuth tokens and profile/channel/page identifiers needed to publish on your behalf.
Usage & technical data
IP address, browser, device, and basic product analytics/logs for security and reliability of Socioi.
Billing data
If you subscribe to Socioi, payment is processed by Paddle; we store plan and subscription status, not full card numbers.
How Socioi uses information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Socioi service
- Authenticate you and manage Socioi workspaces
- Publish and schedule content to channels you connect in Socioi
- Send transactional emails (confirmations, password resets, billing)
- Comply with law and prevent abuse
We do not sell your personal information.
Google & YouTube user data
When you connect YouTube to Socioi, you authorize Socioi through Google OAuth. Socioi requests only the minimum scopes needed to list your YouTube channel(s) and upload or schedule videos you choose to publish through Socioi:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.uploadUpload and manage videos you schedule or post in Socioi
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonlyRead your channel identity (title, handle, avatar) so we can connect the correct channel
- What we access
- OAuth access and refresh tokens; YouTube channel ID, title, custom URL/handle, and avatar; and metadata needed to complete video uploads you initiate (title, description, privacy status, and media you provide).
- How we use it
- Solely to identify your channel and publish or schedule content you create in Socioi. We do not use Google or YouTube user data for advertising, credit decisions, sale to data brokers, or unrelated analytics products.
- How we store it
- OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) in our database. Channel identifiers and publishing metadata are stored with your workspace so Socioi can operate the features you enable. Traffic between your browser, Socioi, and Google APIs uses TLS (HTTPS) in transit.
- Sharing
- Google / YouTube API calls are made only to perform actions you request. We do not share Google user data with advertising platforms or data brokers. Limited operational sharing may occur with infrastructure providers under contract (hosting, database, storage) solely to run Socioi, or when required by law.
- Retention
- Tokens and channel data are kept while the YouTube channel remains connected to your Socioi workspace. You can disconnect YouTube anytime in Socioi Channels settings; you may also revoke Socioi’s access in your Google Account permissions. After disconnect or a deletion request, we delete stored Google OAuth tokens and related channel credentials (see Data deletion).
Connecting YouTube is optional. If you connect a YouTube channel, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of account data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Socioi’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Connected platforms (TikTok, Pinterest, X, Meta, and others)
When you connect TikTok to Socioi, Socioi uses TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting API permissions only to identify your TikTok account and publish videos you schedule or post through Socioi. Access tokens are stored encrypted. You can disconnect TikTok anytime in Socioi Channels settings, and you may also revoke access in your TikTok account settings.
When you connect Pinterest to Socioi, Socioi uses Pinterest OAuth and API permissions only to identify your Pinterest account and create or schedule Pins you choose to publish through Socioi. We access only your own Pinterest data as needed for that publishing. Access tokens are stored encrypted. You can disconnect Pinterest anytime in Socioi Channels settings, and you may also revoke access in your Pinterest account settings.
When you connect X to Socioi, Socioi uses X OAuth 2.0 permissions only to identify your X account and publish posts you schedule or post through Socioi. Access tokens are stored encrypted. You can disconnect X anytime in Socioi Channels settings, and you may also revoke access in your X account settings.
When you connect Meta products to Socioi, we use Facebook Login / Instagram Login / Threads permissions only to list your pages/accounts and publish content you schedule in Socioi.
Data protection mechanisms for sensitive data
Socioi treats OAuth credentials, connected-channel tokens, and Google / YouTube user data obtained via sensitive scopes as sensitive. We apply the following technical and organizational measures:
Encryption in transit
All app, API, and Google API traffic is protected with TLS (HTTPS).
Encryption at rest
OAuth access and refresh tokens for connected channels (including YouTube / Google) are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. Keys are server-side secrets only.
Access controls
Production access is limited to authorized personnel. Tokens are decrypted server-side only for user-requested actions.
Least privilege
We request only the Google OAuth scopes required for documented features and do not use Google user data for undisclosed purposes.
Secure development
Secrets are managed via environment configuration. OAuth client secrets and user tokens are never embedded in frontend code.
Monitoring & abuse prevention
Operational logs focus on reliability, security, and support. We act on unauthorized access or abuse.
Deletion & revocation
Disconnect channels or request deletion via our Data deletion process. See also our Security page.
Retention & security
We keep Socioi account and content data while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and backup purposes. Sensitive channel credentials are retained only while a channel remains connected (or briefly thereafter as needed to complete deletion). See Section 7 for the data protection mechanisms that apply to sensitive data.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your Socioi data. Email privacy@socioi.com. For platform-related deletion instructions, see Data deletion.
Changes
We may update this Socioi Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of Socioi after updates means you accept the revised policy.
