Step-by-step examples: list channels, create drafts, schedule with media.

These examples use a Manual Trigger so you can click Execute while learning. Swap it for a Schedule, Webhook, or other trigger when you go live.

Example A — List channels

  1. Manual Trigger → Socioi
  2. Resource: Channel · Operation: Get Many
  3. Select your Socioi API credential
  4. Execute step

Copy a channel id from the output — you need it for posts.

Optional: add a second Socioi node with Channel → Get Quota to see plan limits.

Example B — Create a draft

  1. Keep Example A, or paste a known channel ID
  2. Add another Socioi node (or reuse one):
FieldValue
ResourcePost
OperationCreate
TypeDraft
ContentYour caption
Channel IDsComma-separated IDs (e.g. clx_abc)
Media IDsLeave empty for text-only
  1. Execute — response includes the post id
  2. Open https://socioi.com — the draft appears in your calendar / drafts

Drafts never publish until you schedule or change type to Now in Socioi or via the API.

Example C — Schedule a post with an image

  1. Socioi → Resource Media · Operation Upload From URL
    • URL: a publicly reachable image (https://…/photo.jpg)
    • Execute → copy the media id
  2. Socioi → Resource Channel · Get Many → copy channel id
  3. Socioi → Resource Post · Create:
FieldValue
TypeSchedule
ContentCaption
Channel IDsChannel id(s)
DateUTC date/time (n8n date-time picker)
Media IDsMedia id from step 1
  1. Execute — status should be scheduled; the worker publishes when date is due

Example D — Publish now

Same as create, but Type = Now. The post is queued for publishing immediately (subject to provider limits and connected channels).

Chaining tips

  • Use expressions to pass IDs: e.g. Channel Get Many output → {{ $json.id }} (adjust to your item shape)
  • For multiple channels, join IDs with commas
  • Prefer Draft while testing; switch to Schedule / Now when ready
  • Failures return API errors — see Errors & limits
